Reports from Kabul indicate that Taliban forces entered the residence of former Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Wednesday morning September 23 and prevented a number of tribal elders and guests from meeting with him.

The reports come amid previous reports of restrictions on Hamid Karzai’s meetings, movements, and political activities.

However, two sources in Kabul told “Elum News” that reports of a Taliban raid on the home of former President Hamid Karzai were not true.
Former Finance Minister Omar Zakhilwal also described the reports as inaccurate in a post on his X account.
