Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said Pakistani forces bombed civilian homes and public property in Kunar and Paktika provinces at around 4:00 a.m. Kabul time.
According to Mujahid, the strike on a civilian home in Nurgal district, Kunar, killed three family members, including Noor Ahmad, and injured four others.
Mujahid said women and children were among the casualties.
In Barmal district of Paktika, strikes reportedly destroyed a shop and an unoccupied house, with no casualties reported.
