Mohsen Zanganeh head of the Economic Commission of Iran’s Parliament has expressed appreciation for what he described as Afghanistan’s friendship and support for Iran during the war between Iran and the United States.
He also criticized Pakistan’s conduct during this period and made allegations regarding the United States’ role in drafting a message attributed to Pakistan’s prime minister.
His remarks come as Afghan and Iranian officials continue to emphasize the expansion of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
