Afghanistan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has announced working hours for employees of central and provincial government offices for the year 1405.
According to the notice, from Saturday to Wednesday working hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a one-hour break from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for prayer and lunch. On Thursdays, working hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The ministry said special working hours for the holy month of Ramadan will be announced later. Production service, health broadcasting, education, and higher education institutions may adjust their working hours according to their operational conditions and regulations.
