A religious scholar Naqibullah Akhund said during a gathering in Panjshir Province that opponents of the Taliban government had previously described the Taliban as a regime supported by Pakistan.
However according to him, the same opponents are now sending armed men to Afghanistan with Pakistan’s support.
He added that the Taliban’s opponents had previously criticized Pakistan for supporting the group, but now in his view they themselves are receiving support from Islamabad.
