Iran’s national carrier Iran Air has resumed flights from Tehran and Mashhad to Kabul restoring air connections between Iran and Afghanistan.
According to Iranian and Afghan media reports flights from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport to Kabul have resumed while services on the Mashhad–Kabul route restarted on October 23.
Taher Abdolhay chief executive of Iran Air said the resumption of flights would restore passenger transport services between the two countries.
