Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdul Ahad Fazli has discussed SIM card registration the expansion of telecommunications services and challenges facing the sector with officials of telecommunications companies.
Fazli said that the distribution and sale of illegal SIM cards have been reduced to zero adding that the registration process for the small number of remaining SIM cards will be completed soon.
Meanwhile, telecommunications company officials pledged to continue improving their services and expanding telecommunications coverage to underserved areas across the country.
