The Office of the Spokesperson for the Badakhshan Police Command says that a high-level delegation of the Taliban government has visited parts of Badakhshan and Takhar provinces to assess the security situation and inspect key and border areas.
According to the office, the delegation included representatives from the intelligence agency the Ministry of Interior Affairs, and the Ministry of Defense.
The delegation visited the districts of Zebak Kran wa Manjan as well as several security checkpoints along the routes to these areas.
During the visit, the delegation assessed the activities preparedness, and needs of security forces.
The delegation also visited key areas of Warsaj district in Takhar and emphasized strengthening coordination among security and defense institutions and ensuring security in remote and border areas.
