Sohail Afridi, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has stressed continuing efforts to secure the release of the party’s leader, Imran Khan, during a rally by his supporters toward Islamabad.
Afridi said: “We must get Imran Khan out of prison and make him Prime Minister again.”
He also emphasized that Imran Khan’s supporters would continue their march toward Islamabad and remain determined to reach the capital.
The PTI protest march began in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with Sohail Afridi personally leading the convoy.
Thousands of Imran Khan’s supporters are participating in the march, and the convoy has moved from the Lakki Marwat area toward Islamabad.
Afridi had previously said that the main objective of the march was to secure Imran Khan’s release and that they would not end their struggle without achieving this demand.
