Gulbuddin Hekmatyar leader of the Islamic Party has criticized the recent actions of the Pakistani military saying that it appears the army is deliberately seeking to reignite the flames of war and implement plans put forward by the United States.
Hekmatyar warned that Pakistani authorities should realize that continuing this war could have consequences far more dangerous for Pakistan than for Afghanistan.
According to him continued conflict will not only increase insecurity within Pakistan but could also lead to greater regional isolation and widespread opposition against the country.
