Afghan taekwondo athlete Farzad Mansouri has won the gold medal at the German Open Taekwondo Championships after defeating opponents from several countries.
Mansouri, a former member of Afghanistan’s national taekwondo team competed in the under-80 kg category and defeated athletes from England, Croatia, Iran, and Australia to claim the gold medal.
The German Open Taekwondo Championships were held in Hamburg, Germany with more than 1,000 taekwondo athletes taking part.
