More U.S. troops have died during the war with Iran than the Pentagon has publicly disclosed.
According to Reuters, citing a Washington Post report, at least 22 U.S. military personnel have been killed in the war, based on internal Defense Department casualty data cited by six U.S. officials familiar with the figures.
The reported death toll is four higher than the number listed in the Pentagon’s public database.
The Washington Post said five of the officials confirmed the figure of 22 military fatalities.
