Zabihullah Mujahid spokesperson for the Taliban government says that Afghanistan a country that has suffered from decades of war and insecurity does not seek to create insecurity in any other country.
He emphasized that the Taliban government’s policy is based on constructive relations with neighboring countries and the international community as well as non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
Mujahid also said that peace and stability in the region, particularly in Pakistan are in Afghanistan’s interest and that tensions and conflicts would be detrimental to both countries.
These remarks come as tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan continue with the two sides holding differing views on security issues and the activities of armed groups.
