Emal Faizi former spokesperson for ex-President Hamid Karzai, has strongly condemned the airstrikes in Kunar and Paktika describing them as attacks by Pakistan against Afghan civilians under the pretext of counterterrorism.
Faizi called on Russia, China, India, and Iran to develop a joint regional strategy in response to Pakistan’s actions and to strengthen the Moscow Format.
He also called for an examination of the link between what he described as Pakistan’s “destabilizing actions” and U.S. strategic support for the country.
