Shah Mahmood Miakhel former acting defense minister of Afghanistan, has condemned Pakistan’s interference and airstrikes saying that condemnation alone is not enough to resolve the issue.
Miakhel proposed that Pakistan’s ambassador be expelled and that the ground be prepared for the convening of a Loya Jirga to establish a national position toward Pakistan and pave the way for the formation of a lawful, legitimate, and democratic government.
He also criticized the Taliban’s current policies saying that continued isolation is making the situation in Afghanistan even more complicated.
