The Taliban government’s Ministry of Higher Education has announced the cancellation of the operating license of Khatam al-Nabieen Private University in Kabul and its branch in Ghazni.
Ziaullah Hashimi, spokesperson for the ministry said the decision was made due to what he described as failure to implement ministry policies disrespect for Islamic values, and other issues.
He added that current students of the university can continue their studies at other private universities.
