The Afghan Red Crescent Society’s office in Uruzgan Province says it has distributed a total of 11.5 million Afghanis in cash assistance to 500 needy farmers in the provincial capital, Tirin Kot.
According to the office, each farmer received 23000 Afghanis.
The assistance was provided with financial support from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to help strengthen the economic situation of the farmers.
